Please join us in serving our Veterans!

There are many ways that you can help. We are still in need of many items for the Lodge, the Soldier's Retreat house as well as things to help us maintain the sprawling grounds. Please check the sidebar to the right for some of the items we are looking for and to learn about upcoming projects.

You may either purchase an item yourself or you can make a cash donation earmarked for its purchase. You may also make a general cash donation which will be applied where it will have the greatest impact.

Checks can be made out to American Legion Department of Michigan. You can send your contribution to our Treasurer Roger Webster at 6069 Pointview Ct, Newaygo, MI 49337-8707.

The Wilwin Lodge is a 501c(3) organization, so all donations are fully tax deductible.

How you can help

While the construction of the new dining hall is being donated, we will need to obtain the equipment and furnishings. Everything from the freezers, stove and dishwasher to the tables and chairs are still awaiting their benefactors. Even a small donation can make a big difference.

Shower and restroom facilities, additional accomodations, a rustic campground and gun range are just some of the future projects we are looking at. Follow the link to see what's on the list so far.

As people begin to spend time at Wilwin, new needs become apparent. Some are small like an indoor/outdoor thermometer, while others are larger like a 4 wheeler type utility vehicle such as a John Deere gator. See the current wish list here.
